Effective June 22, 2020 Presidential Proclamation 10014 is extended and broadened.

Suspend and limits entry into the United States any individual in the following categories and their dependents::

• H-1B
• H-2
• L
• J

The suspension applies only to the individual that attempt to enter the United States on June 24, 2020, and:

• Is outside the United States on June 24, 2020;
• Does not have a valid H, L, or J visa in their passport on June 24, 2020; and
• Has no other travel document other than a visa that would allow them to enter the United States.

There are exceptions for persons who may be essential to the United States. food supply chain and for individuals whose entry is in the national interest.   We do not know what jobs may be deemed essential or are in the national interest (though allowing some pro-athletes to enter the United States is in the national interest).

The proclamation is in effect until December 31, 2020; but may be continued if necessary.
