On May 29, 2020, President Trump signed an executive order that will bar admission of certain F-1 Students and J-1 researchers from China.  The bar on Chinese students and researchers will start on June 1, 2020.  The rule includes some exceptions including F-1 students from China that are in undergraduate studies.  Other exceptions are made for United States citizens and residents and their immediate family members.
